At last….I obtained this 1880s chaise longue almost 10 years ago and finally managed to find the time to refinish the fabulous carved walnut woodwork. I stripped it down to the wood frame and reupholstered with all new webbing, foam and stunning peridot green cut velvet from Chintz & Co. Something so beautifully hand made deserves to be preserved and loved for another 150 years.
